This guide explains how to change the filename format for your invoices in Easy Invoice+.
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account.
Step 2: Navigate to the Apps section of your Shopify store and select Easy Invoice+. You will be automatically redirected to the app dashboard.
Step 3: From the dashboard, click on Template Design.
Step 4: Navigate to the Localization section.
Step 5: Under Document Settings, locate the Document File Name field to customize the invoice filename.
By default, the file name is based on the Shopify Order Name.
You can use dynamic placeholders to customize the format:
- To use your custom invoice number:
invoice_{{ order.custom_invoice_name }} - To include the order date:
invoice-{{ order.name }}-{{ order.created_at | date('Y-m-d') }}
Step 6: Once you’ve made your selection, click the Save button at the top center of the screen to apply your changes.
