This guide provides all the essential information on creating and sending pro forma invoices.
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account.
Step 2: Go to your Shopify store’s “Apps” section and select Easy Invoice+. You will be automatically redirected to the app dashboard.
Step 3: Click on the “Pro Forma Invoices” button on the left side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Click on the “Create Invoice” button.

Step 5: On the “Pro Forma Invoice Settings” page, click on the “Customer Details” button on the left side of the page, or either the “Shipping Details”, “Billing Details” or “Customer Details”.
Step 6: After adding all the details, click on “Product Details” on the left side of the page or click on the Product Line to add products.
Step 7: After adding the products, click on the “Terms and Conditions” to show or hide the options below:
- Issue Date
- Due Date
- Payment Status
Step 8: Type your invoice number by simply clicking on the “Invoice Line”.
Step 9: After making the necessary changes, click on the “Save Changes” button in the top right corner.
Step 10: After performing a final check on the invoice, you can view Invoice Checkout, and then you can print, download, or send the pro forma invoice.
Note: You can also print, download, or send the pro forma invoice from the “Invoices” section under “Pro Forma Invoices” by clicking the “Actions” button and selecting the desired action.
