This guide is designed to provide you with all the necessary information about changing the currency of the donation tree.
Please follow these steps,
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account
Step 2: Click on the “Apps” section of your Shopify store and click on One Tree Planted at Checkout. One Tree Planted at Checkout will automatically redirect you to the app dashboard.
Step 3: Go to “Settings” on the left side panel
Step 4: Go to “Account Settings”
Step 5: Open the “Currency” dropdown and select the currency you wish to show on your store.
- Our app will automatically convert $1 to the equivalent value of the currency you have selected. It is not technically possible to change the donation amount into your currency.
- For example; The donation cost of a tree ($1) can not be displayed as £1.
- Conversion rates will be automatically updated by our app.
Step 6: After making the necessary changes, click the “Save Changes” on the top right side of the screen
Please be aware that if you have implemented a currency conversion app on your site, it may potentially interfere with our app’s currency conversion, leading to unexpected amounts for the donation product. To avoid any discrepancies, we recommend reviewing the donation product cost and ensuring it is set at an equivalent value of $1. This will help maintain consistency and accuracy in the donation process.
