This guide provides all the essential information on using metafields.
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account.
Step 2: Go to your Shopify store’s “Apps” section and select Easy Invoice+. You will be automatically redirected to the app dashboard.
Step 3: Click on the “Order” button on the left side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Click on one of the orders.
Step 5: Click on the “Order Metafields” button on the right side of the dashboard or scroll down to the “Order Metafields” section.
Step 6: Fill in the necessary “Key” and “Value” sections. You have 3 meta fields to fill.
Step 7: After filling in the necessary fields, click on the “Save Changes” button.
Step 8: You can now print, download, or send the invoice with the meta fields you added.

If you are using a “ready to use” template, your data will be automatically printed on your documents. If you are using a “drag&drop” template, you need to drag and drop the “Meta Data” container on your template manually.
You can add meta fields to the Drag&Drop template by following the steps below:
- On the Easy Invoice+ dashboard, click on “Invoice” under “Template Design”.
- Click on the “Order Data Fields” button on the left side of the “Invoice Settings”.
- Click on the “Horizontal” or “Vertical” buttons near “Order Metafield 1 – 3” (according to how many you wish to add).
- After placing the meta field boxes where you want them on the invoice, click the ‘Save Changes’ button.
